Kool Keith | Stuff Magazine | 06.28.00

Another fun shoot for STUFF magazine at the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills with the legend Kool Keith.  This was crazy fun!  I can’t remember why we shot at the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills, but we did.  The whole idea was for him to dress up like Batman and pick up a girl at the bar.  NOT sure why, but that’s what we shot.

I booked model Morisa from C.E.D. agency.  She was a good sport and went along with the idea.  Honestly when I think about this shoot I thought the whole idea was a waste of good talent.  Kool Keith was and is a Hip Hop legend.  We should have done something better, but I had to do what the magazine wanted.  That’s how it goes sometimes.

I’m just upset with myself for NOT shooting Kool Keith without the Batman outfit.  My bad.  In the end the shoot was fun, the layout looked good and I got paid.  SO I would call this shoot a win!  Woo hoo!
