I just need to give a shout-out to EVOTO software. Why? Because I started using it over six months ago and I’m loving it—big time. I’m still a beginner with it, but I really enjoy the process, and it’s been easy to learn. Most importantly, it’s cut my retouching time in half… if not more. A lot of it has been trial and error for me, and that’s part of the fun.
The features are solid. The cost is reasonable. The interface is easy to figure out. And last—but definitely not least—it saves me a TON of time. I need to get my friend back over here to teach me more, because the more I learn, the more I can do. One of the biggest things I love is how it cleans up skin without making photos look over-retouched. Nothing worse than an image that looks retouched.
The future is now when it comes to A.I. and new technology in photography. You’ve got to find what works for you and what doesn’t. I’m still very much in the “figuring this shit out” phase. I like what I’m seeing so far, but I know there’s more to learn—and more coming. EVOTO feels like a good starting point for me.
I’m sure there are plenty of other A.I. photography apps out there worth checking out. I also need to dive back into Photoshop and see what’s new there. I still use Photoshop for the basics, but clearly there’s a lot more to learn… with everything.
