Bush | Trauma Records | 08.27.99 (video)
This was one of the last shoots I did on a video set.Β I met the production downtown LA.Β I didnβt shoot stills, I just did a quick publicity shoot for Trauma Records.Β I think it was two simple set-ups next to the set.Β My third shoot with Bush!
The best part of the day/night was that Gwen Stefani showed to be with Gavin.Β I hadnβt seen Gwen in a long time.Β Like a long time.Β It was a great surprise.Β We sat in director chairs off set and just talked.Β We caught up on everything.Β She was and is the best!Β I told how life wasnβt easy for me at the time and was struggling with a broken heart.Β She listened and comforted me!Β I still look back at that shoot and thank her for being the best of the best!Β She doesnβt even know how amazing she was!
From this meeting, she recommended me to Interscope Records to shoot the new publicity photos for No Doubt. A month later there we were⦠at Smash Box in Santa Monica shoot with the band. And a couple weeks after that Gwen did a shoot for me for fun. ALL because of this video shoot for Bush!!!
