I saw the sad news on October 18th that Inger Lorre lead singer of the band The Nymphs had passed away from cancer.Β  I woke up to the news on Facebook and just stopped what I was doing.Β  I sat there and had a flood of memories pour into my head.Β  So many thoughts and feelings.Β  She was one-of-kind, creative as fuck, passionate, talented and the right kind of crazy. Β

I met her when she was Lori Anne.Β  She was just a model with Elite Models here in Los Angeles around 1987 I think.Β  We did a test shot at my studio in Hollywood and she told me she wanted to sing and have a band.Β  I was like OK, but you do know it’s a lot of work. Β She was so passionate and really had a vision.Β  She came back to me months later with her band The Nymphs.Β  We ended up shooting again, but this time with the band.Β  I did a couple more solo shoots with just her and then in 1991 I shot The Nymphs for Creem Magazine.

She was one of a kind.Β  She did some crazy shit and messed some things up in the biz.Β  Her reputation was rough, but to me she was nice and fun.Β  A great subject who always made me look good.Β  I loved the fact that she would come to the shoots with a clear vision of what she wanted.Β  She made my job easy.Β  I would just shoot and have fun.Β  I’m gonna look over our shoots and smile.Β  She was aΒ creative force in every aspect of her life.Β  Rest easy Lori Anne.Β
