These days it seems Mental Health is talked about more than ever. I love it and for me it’s not enough. I won’t lie. I did over 8+ years of therapy and enjoyed every minute of it. If I could afford it, I would still be going!!! I loved the experience and what I learned about myself. I learned so much about my past, my pain, my inner child and my understanding of who I am! Who I want to be!
Mental health is the most important of all the healths. Physical, emotional and financial health are all very important , but mental health effects ALL of them. Make sense? My advice to my friends having issues is to always ask for help. Getting help is the first step. The second step is to do the work. The third step is go easy, be gentle and keep doing the work. After ALL these years I still do the work. Can’t stop, won’t stop.
I have my tools and techniques that help me get through what life brings me. I work hard at everything and believe that resting is an underrated tool. Sleep is great, but resting is different. I just go easy when I need it. We live in a world where everything is GO GO GO! I like to say… go slow slow slow! There is no rush. Just go easy and be gentle please!
