03.16.95 – White Zombie | Geffen Records
Holy FUCK!!! White Zombie for Geffen Records was fucking awesome. Such a great band at the right time. Meeting and shooting Rob Zombie was a BIG thrill for me. I loved what he was doing and I loved the music. Hard and fast! Crazy and powerful. This was a publicity shoot for the label. We did the shoot at my favorite Studio 46!
We shot inside and outside in the alley behind the studio. I was so into shooting Polaroid 665 back in those days and shot a lot at this shoot. I remember how laid back the band was about the whole day. Rob was beyond cool! I had shot John Tempesta the drummer before for a drum company. So it was a simple and easy day for me. I look back at ALL my shoots like these and smile. Good times, great shoots and brilliant music!
