I’m gonna think out loud again.  I ask this question a lot… can ART be content and can content be ART?  What do you think?  This world is ALL about content.  Is this content ART?  What is ART to you?  What is ART these days?  Are we past the time of real ART?  

Here’s my simple thoughts… I think there is way more content than ART.  I think ART can be content, but I don’t think content can be ART.  We all have our own definitions of each, but real ART is way more than content.  I think true great ART touches your soul and makes you feel.  I think that content is just content and is forgot all the time.  What ever comes out today is forgotten by tomorrow.  Content doesn’t last, real ART will last the test of time.

This is the world we live in.  It’s not right or wrong.  It is what it is.  I’m ok with it.  I heard this quote long ago and it rings loud to this day… “Content is king, but distribution pays the kings mortgage.”  It’s SO true!  Like really true.  I think I create ART, but I also produce content.  I also love doing both.  I also love anyone who does what they love.  SO, get out and create what ever the fuck you want.  Just have fun doing it.
