This was my first trip outside the USA! I got to fly to England and shoot Phil for SImmons Drums. I had to meet him at “The Farm”. Which was home to ALL that was Phil and Genesis at the time. For me this was a dream come true. I was a Genesis fan for many years! It took a while to get there, but once I did it was amazing! I got to meet Phil, Tony and Mike. Got to hang out and see everything… Where they recorded albums, rehearse and create. It was like winning the lottery for a fan like me!
We shot for an hour, had some laughs and Phil was so nice. As a matter of fact everyone was. This was my first trip abroad and I was a bit nervous, but Phil and ALL the people with him made me feel at home. I stayed at an 17th Century Inn in the middle of nowhere for 2 days. It was so fun and a dream come true. The following year I was lucky enough to shoot Phil a couple times, Genesis live and just hang out with one of my favorite bands of all time. Wow!
